Breaking Barriers: New Affordable Anger Management Group for Parolees

It may be difficult to navigate life after incarceration, particularly when it comes to controlling one’s emotions and forming healthy relationships. Our goal at Anger Management 818 is to help people manage their aggressive behavior by offering psychoeducation, insight, and cognitive-behavioral skills via weekly groups. We seek to provide rehabilitative programming with anger management skills to recently incarcerated individuals to reduce the likelihood of reoffending or committing a crime.

Anger Management Class Time

I am thrilled to announce the launch of our new parole-specific anger management group. This group meets every Thursday at 10 AM and is designed specifically for individuals who have recently been released from jail or prison.

Discounted Rate for Anger Management Group for Parolees

Anger Management 818 provides a 50% discount for this specific group, the one-time intake price is $35 instead of $40, and each mandated anger management class is $15. We hope this makes it less cost-prohibitive to parolees. Our mission is to provide affordable and effective support to those reentering society.

Anger Management Workbook

The 52 comprehensive lessons in our Anger Management Essentials Workbook serve as the foundation for our curriculum. These courses cover a wide range of subjects, including stress reduction, communication, and cultivating better relationships, all of which are not only applicable to anger management but also universally beneficial. Some of my favorite lessons include assertive communication, building boundaries, and forgiveness—skills that are essential for personal growth and successful reintegration into the community.

Anger Management Classes and Forms

Forms are accessible via our website including the Release of Information which permits smooth communication between anger management clients, parole officers, and anger management counselors. The process can take 30 seconds to complete including a digital signature, and the anger management group facilitator collaborates with the parole office to update about program progress.

Anger Management 818 offers 15+ classes led by a variety of skilled certified anger management counselors including men-only, women-only, Spanish-speaking groups, and much more. Our commitment to having a positive influence and helping people start again is demonstrated by our new parole-specific group.

If you or someone you know could benefit from this program, please visit our website at Anger Management 818 for more information and to sign up. Together, we can help parolees navigate their journey with confidence and resilience.
