Sophie Grigoryan, AMFT, APCC
Sophie Grigoryan is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor at Anger Management 818, serving clients in Glendale and Sherman Oaks. She holds a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and a BA from CSUN.
With over six years of experience as a social worker in Los Angeles County, Sophie supports individuals, couples, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, and career concerns. She uses an integrative, evidence-based approach, including Attachment Theory, CBT, and TF-CBT.
Sophie will facilitate weekly anger management classes in English, Armenian, and Russian, providing culturally responsive care and fostering a safe, supportive space for all participants. She will teach clients skills to reduce aggressive behavior using Anger Management Essentials, a CBT-based psychoeducational program.
