Thea Brown, AMFT # 138429
Thea Brown is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and she obtained a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychotherapy from Antioch University, Los Angeles. Thea’s goal is to provide a space in which individuals feel they have the freedom to explore their emotions, by way of identifying, acknowledging, and honoring their experience. Thea uses an integrative approach to therapy, relying primarily on person-centered therapy, existential psychotherapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. Thea believes these frameworks allow individuals to sit in the power of their decisions, by claiming and owning their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and ultimately opening to the possibility of meaningful transformation.
Thea works with adults, couples, and teens who are ready to rediscover themselves and find the tools they need to reach their goals.
Thea provides services in Spanish and English via teletherapy and in person, in Sherman Oaks, Glendale, and Woodland Hills. Thea works under the supervision of Silva Depanian, LMFT (MFC#121864).
