Sipan Nazaryan is a certified Anger Management Counselor and an Associate Therapist at Avedian Counseling Center, with offices in Sherman Oaks and Glendale. He holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and employs a holistic approach to mental well-being.

Sipan conducts multiple weekly group sessions as part of Anger Management 818. These groups serve as a secure, confidential space where individuals can learn a variety of effective coping mechanisms and emotional regulation skills. He employs cognitive-behavioral techniques to help clients identify triggers, manage stressful situations, and develop healthier interpersonal relationships.

Beyond group sessions, Sipan offers specialized one-on-one anger management counseling. He uses evidence-based approaches to give individuals the tools they need to understand the underlying issues contributing to their anger, providing lasting solutions for both emotional and behavioral regulation.

Alongside his focus on anger management, Sipan has extensive experience working with diverse age groups, particularly children and teenagers grappling with ADHD, behavioral challenges, and academic stress. He has dedicated hundreds of hours to enhance communication between parents and children, successfully bridging generational divides.

In the realm of adult therapy, Sipan specializes in couples counseling, aimed at nurturing healthier relationships through improved communication, conflict resolution, and emotional bonding. Utilizing evidence-based methods, he equips couples with the practical skills required to navigate life’s challenges as a unit.

Clients who work with Sipan can anticipate a blend of up-to-date research with a relatable, conversational approach. He continuously updates his practice based on cutting-edge studies to offer the most effective therapeutic interventions, always striving to make his clients feel both understood and empowered.

As a practitioner of Psychodynamic therapy, Sipan guides clients to delve into unconscious patterns and unresolved past conflicts that may be impacting their present emotional state. This depth-oriented approach enables a more comprehensive self-understanding, paving the way for enduring change.

An active member of the San Fernando Valley Chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (SFV-CAMFT), Sipan contributes to the community by interviewing fellow therapists and writing their biographies, thereby highlighting his commitment to professional growth and mental health advocacy.
