Madlen Pashinian, Marriage and Family Therapy Registered Intern

Madlen has earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy which she received from Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology. She is certified as a Domestic Violence Advocate. Madlen has facilitated Domestic Violence education groups, Parenting groups, Emotional Management groups, and Emotional Support Groups. Furthermore, she is trained and certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, which she has used with adolescents and their families who suffered from past trauma. Other than her clinical experience, she has a lot of professional experience working with children and adolescents for over 10 years.

In 2014, Madlen joined the Anger Management 818 team, and became certified as an Anger Management Counselor by Anita Avedian, MFT. She facilitates weekly anger management classes in Glendale under the supervision of Rachel Thomasian, MFT.
