Ana Alicia Mendoza, B.A., CAMC
Executive Administrative Assistant
Ana Mendoza is a proud and outspoken Mexican-American Latina that was born and raised in beautiful Los Angeles. As a young girl she always had a strong passion for helping others and as she grew older she decided she wanted to dedicate her future to doing just that.Growing up in a low-income community helped to motivate Ana to strive for a better life. In 2013 she graduated from Animo Inglewood Charter and then continued her education at California State University, Northridge.
At CSUN, she chose to major in Child and Adolescent Development with a minor in psychology. She knew that at some point she wanted to work with children and families from underprivileged neighborhoods to give back to a community like her own. During the time that Ana was enrolled as a full-time student she also accepted two different positions at Autism Learning Partners full-time. Autism Learning Partners is an ABA company dedicated to providing in-home and in-school behavioral therapy to children on the autism spectrum. She was a Senior administrative assistant and a behavior therapist. Ana was truly humbled by the wonderful opportunity to work both in an administrative and clinical setting.
After working there for some time, Miss Mendoza decided to focus on her last semester of college and then finally graduated from CSUN in the Fall of December 2017. Ana is thrilled and so grateful to be joining the Anger Management 818 team as the Executive Administrative Assistant to Anita Avedian. After taking a break from school for a some time, Ana hopes to return in the near future to pursue her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
